Time Will Tell

I hope this moment is the beginning

I hope this moment is the continuation

Yet, this moment feels & seems far from grasp

Fear sets in

Worries bading their time at the door

That moment seems further than I hope it will be

Yet, calling it quit will ends it all

No, I can’t and I shouldn’t,

Shaking off this coat of reluctance that has unknowningly built up over time.

I close my eyes, darkness looms

And tighter, pricking my ears

A heaviness greets me

I draw a deep breath.

Hold, 1 2 3 …… Puff!

And again……

Where is that moment?

That moment of peace, of hope and light?

I missed the cheers from those triumphant moments

The shouting and the joy from the wins

Where?

No answers.

Time probably will answer

Time will tell when that moment has arrived.

8 Days Road Trip Western Australia, Perth:

The mere mentioned of Perth makes me want to do it all over again. A gang of four sets off from Singapore, for their first road trip.

Day 1: York Town -> Wave Rock

Day 2: Hyden -> Albany

Day 3: Albany -> Denmark -> Northcliffe

Day 4: Northcliffe -> Pemberton

Day 5: Magaret River

Day 6: Perth City (Habour Town) –> Fremantle

Day 7: Pinnacles

Day 8: Perth City –> Home Sweet Home

Memories are best stored and cherished in our hearts and brains. While fumbling through the notes however, I’ve also realised there were so much more lovely memories during the trip.

While time and work don’t allow for another leisure road trip in the near future, through the upcoming notes, photos and videos, I hope to share our happy memories and relish them all over again, through 101 memories.

New Year Resolution

Chancing upon my new year resolutions while doing housekeeping on my computer, I was curious what I’ve wrote earlier this year:

  • FinanceNew Year Resolution
  • Career
  • Health
  • Spiritual
  • Family
  • Knowledge and Skills

This sounds bad; but I’ve completely forgotten about this list. I was supposed to write them out, print out the list and work out a plan.

On closer look however, it’s seems that I’m still on track. Basic priorities remain the same. “How much more would things have progressed if I had routinely charted and engined my progress”.

For the past two days, the slow progress of things and the mundane work of routine tasks seemed to have let a growing irk seep in. What’s happening? I’ve new projects and still many things to do; but I seem to be missing the hustle and bustle of a crowded office, of deadlines.

Somehow, a piece seem to be missing. Could this be what’s said in Romans? Or, what’s happening in book of Joshua (not that I have completed reading through that). Or, could this slow pace……  be…… a missing piece of patience?

James 1:3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.

v2-v8: My brethren, count if all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

Hmm….. patience, faith, double-minded……

It’s so ironic, I should be happy that I am on track and not always trying to catch up with deadlines! Ha, let’s get back to work!
